Our group originated with the idea to provide qualitative cutting tools that were both practical and affordable in India. The inspiration for the initials ”I.L.” came from our grandparents’ names, who always encouraged us to follow our hearts, take new initiatives and create a niche for ourselves.

Our opening dealership contract was for Delhi and NCR region with NTK Cutting Tools, and with the help of two engineers and very limited resources, we were able to establish a business of two million INR in the first year of operations. In subsequent years of 2006 and 2007, we strengthened our business portfolio by adding distributorships of Palbit (Indexable Milling Solution) and Pramet (Heavy Machining and Tubes Machining). Five years later, in 2010, we extended out footprint to South India and added channel partners for Hyderabad and Chennai region. It was followed by addition of distributorship of Hartner, Germany (Special Drilling Applications) as an extension to our business operations. In 2013, we launched our own brand for cutting tool solution with the name – ‘CUTSOL’. In 2015, the I.L. Group became the largest cutting tool supplier to Maruti Udyog and successfully crossed the target of business worth 300 million INR.

As I.L. Group has grown, so has our concentration on the things that really matter: quality, reliability and on-time delivery. We work hard to do everything by the book, and obsess over ensuring that our clients get the materials, equipment and resources when and where they need them. Owing to our efficient sales organization, we have become exclusive distributors of several world-renowned manufacturers of industrial consumables, and look forward to adding more to this list.
